About us

Locals… the adventurous tourist… or the lucky who have just stumbled upon us– welcome to Uncorked! Thank you for searching us out!!! We would not be here for the last 12+ years if it were not for you, and that is the bottom line. Our goal as a locally owned Wine Lounge and Eatery is very simple: to be the best at everything we do & to offer our guests the highest quality product at a great price while giving the best service possible.

We opened Uncorked to give people a place to relax and feel like they are at home. We like to entertain. We like to offer friendly service & warm hospitality. We’ve taken the pretentiousness out of wine, and we are always willing to answer any questions you might have. Our wine flights allow you to try different wines side by side, making it easy to discover what styles of wine you prefer. We like to drink wine! For those of you who haven’t found a wine that you like yet, we have the patience to help you find your passion for wine! (But we also offer cocktails, draft & bottled beer!) Whether you’re a novice wine drinker or a well-seasoned one, our knowledgeable staff can help you choose the perfect wine!

We love the food that comes out of our kitchen! We make things that go well with wine. We try to “think outside the box” when it comes to our menu, whether it be our Parmigiano Reggiano Cheesecake, Goat Cheese stuffed Lamb & Hot Italian Sausage Meatballs, or our Poached Pear Salad. We make our food (soups, dressings, desserts, flatbreads, hot italian sausage, etc.) from scratch. Please join us for lunch or dinner, Monday thru Saturday.

We realize that appreciating a bottle of wine is largely a result of experimentation— and it should be fun! Your own personal taste buds are unique, so lighten up! No one will laugh or point!

I have been to the Restaurant/Bar business for over 35 yrs. I finally got to the point where I wanted to open my own place because I found it hard working for managers or owners who didn’t know what they were doing. The planning and execution of Uncorked took 6 years. I almost gave up on everything many times, but with the support and love of my husband, Tim, and my friends Dave, Charlotte, and Mike, I made it to opening day. As Tim says to me all the time, “You’re living your dream”. And I am in so many ways. If you’ve ever built your own “start-up” business, or even if you haven’t, it is hard work, frustration, sweat & tears, but all worth it in the end. It is not for the faint-of-heart. It is a day in, day out, trying everything possible to make people feel the passion that you have and want to share with everyone. I wanted to open a restaurant/wine bar without an attitude. No loud screeching music, no pretentious staff. I think we did pretty well. Come visit your “home-away-from-home” at Uncorked, stay for a while, and judge for yourself!!!
